Amanda Kicks up Her Heels @Badlander

Wednesday, was Missoula's version of a "star-studded evening," as Amanda Cevallos had two CD release parties, and bid zootown farewell, before moving to Texas. One of the highlights was Shmed joining Amanda's band, Bad Intentions, playing the accordion.

Richie Reinholdt was also there.

Amanda was so hot, she set this guy's hair on fire!

As usual, there are many more photographs of Amanda, Bad Intentions, Richie Reinholdt and Shmed on the flickr archive. There is a set of this event, another for the previous one at Missoula Cellars, a set of Todd Snider w/amanda@the palace, and sets of many Missoula bands and performers. Love Fest at Missoula Cellars

Missoula Cellars hosted Amanda Cevallos' CD release party, Wednesday evening, March 4. The event turned into a love fest with Amanda profusely praising her long-time teacher and friend, Richie Reinholdt, and an audience of friends and fans wishing her well in her upcoming move to Texas.

Amanda was elegant in black, and Richie was hard working as ever. Reinholdt provided a warm up set and stayed on stage to accompany Amanda. His presence on the new CD was duly noted and his songs performed individually and together.

An harmonica player, named Seth, joined in. Other local celebrities of the music scene were in attendance.
