Tom and the Tomatoes at Clark Fork Farmer's Market
One of the the fun goulash bands in Missoula played for the Farmer's Market, under Higgins Bridge, Saturday. Tom and the Tomatoes were previously covered here, when they performed in the big tent, during the Jeannette Rankin Peace Party. They play an eclectic mix of European folk music with zest, aiming for fun more than finesse. If you don't want to dance, you will at least tap your feet.
I'm so glad I found Missoula, before I died. All my life I had been out of step, out of tune, not quite fitting in, missing something and homesick for a place I had never been. I may still be a little out of tune, but I am having great fun, and I've never been happier.
