Charlie Hunter is intense, when he is making music. It's one of the reasons he is among the world's best jazz guitarists. What a treat to watch him perform at the Top Hat on Friday, October 2, 2009. Since it was First Friday, there was plenty happening in zootown, and this event topped the hipnhot list for the evening.
Behind Charlie was a talented and strong drummer, who powered some mighty riffs.
Quite a sound for a duo. Thanks to the Top Hat for bringing them to town.
